Visualizing Richmond in El Cerrito
July 9, 2009 – 10:22 amPlease don’t forget. Tomorrow night (Friday, July 10), is the opening reception, from 7-9, for my show of photographs: Visualizing Richmond in El Cerrito. The show is now up at the Glenn Framing and Art Gallery, 7027 Stockton Ave, El Cerrito. If you’re in the neighborhood, come on by. Map

The reception is part of the Stockton Stroll, a bi-monthly event of openings and art exhibits. I will be showing more than 40 new works, including photographs, and mandalas created from my photographs. The entire show consists of images created in Richmond. There is a series of photographs from the Miraflores Redevelopment Project (the Sakai and Oishi Nurseries), a unique fence on Ohio Street, a variety of portraits and street scenes, and composite mandalas from original photographs. The show will continue through August 29.

This is a FABULOUS show, Fletcher! Just fabulous. Everyone should see it …
I’m very happy with the piece I bought – a gorgeous mellow-psychedelic mandala.
