Pride 2014 – Poets Laureate – Marilyn Monroe

The 44th San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade was June 29, 2014. This is a fun event — most everybody there is high on Pride. I get there early and shoot the build up of the day, the staging. It’s fun, and since I started hanging out a lot with Mrs Vera and her group, Verasphere, it’s even more social. Here are a few of my best from the day. Richmond, Ca, Poets Laureate

The City of Richmond, California had so many fine candidates for the position of Poet Laureate, of such diversity, that we felt compelled to choose three people to represent us: Donte Clark, Brenda Quintanilla, and Lincoln Bergman. The beautiful Marilyn Monroe had her birthday recently and I was able to get her to pose briefly.
