It’s been over a year since I posted on this blog, photos from our 2014 trip to India. We returned there in November of 2016. These are a few photos from a day in Delhi, and a couple of days in Pushkar, Rajasthan, where the annual Camel Fair was being held.

Check out the photos on this page and check out both complete portfolios here:

Pushkar 1 –

In the next few weeks and months, I will be publishing several more portfolios of photographs from this trip. Stay tuned.

Agra Jaipur and Delhi

Here are a few photos from the final half of the journey to India that Barbara and I took just about a year ago. We flew from Varanasi to see the Taj Mahal, which is worth going to Agra for, an otherwise un-notable city. We stayed just a day in Agra, and then on to Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri and the incredible stepwell, Chand Baori, in the village of Abhaneri. In Jaipur we visited the old city, the Amer Fort, the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing, and Jantar Mantar Observatory. Back in Delhi we went to the family farm of our driver one day, took the Saalaam Baalak Trust City Walk another, and went to the Jan Path Market on our last day there.

To see a larger selection of photographs, please go to my photo page : Agra-Jaipur-Delhi.

The Chand Baori stepwell was built between the 8th and 9th centuries. It goes down about 100 feet, 3500 steps.

Folsom Street Fair

The Folsom Street Fair is billed as the worlds largest leather event. I don’t know about that, but it is one of the kinkiest, sex filled public events of the year in San Francisco. I love it, though it’s certainly not everyones cup of tea. There are open displays of many kinds of sexual acts, from fellatio to bondage, to men in diapers, and sexual acts and fetishes. My interests, as usual, are the opportunities for interesting portraits of all sorts of people.

To see the complete set of Folsom Street Fair photographs, other collections, or to purchase any of my photos, please go to my photo page.

Pride Parade 2015

The 45th San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade was June 28, 2015. This is a great event that I have attended for many years now. I love to get there early and photograph some of the staging. About 10-10:30, Mrs Vera and the Verasphere folks start to show, and I hang with them through to the end of the parade. It’s fun to march with Mrs Vera and the contingent. Like most everyone you run into at Pride, they are having loads of fun, as am I.
Almost all of the photos that I took that day were with the Verasphere. To see my complete portfolio from Pride, visit my photo page, where photo prints are available for purchase. Numbered and signed prints are available from me directly at
