We stayed a few blocks from here, in The Rocks, during our visit to Sydney. As the landing place of 1400 men, women and children in 1788 (over half being convicts), The Rocks provide a fascinating look at white Australian history. Much of The Rocks' buildings and artefacts have been restored to an earlier era.
