This is a candid view of Bush, allegedly from when he was governor

Here's a couple of music videos making the rounds of college age people and other young folks. These are some great sounds. Don't listen if you don't like rap.

Mosh by Eminem, is a strong anti-Bush song urging people to register to vote. He may not be endorsing Kerry, but he sure is condemning Bush.

This one, "supa dubya", is a pre-release single to announce the return of 4o. del Tren and the beginning of the end for the neofascist regime of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

I've linked to Tom Tomorrow's site in the past. I go to this site quite often and enjoy it. Today he has two really good sections. One of these has a very dark humor look at the draft, called enjoy the draft. com The other is the third item down on his page, entitled Proof the system works. Check out his cartoon there.

The American Conservative Magazine publishes their endorsement for President and it ain't George Bush.

"...this election does not offer traditional conservatives an easy or natural choice and has left our editors as split as our readership. In an effort to deepen our readersâ and our own understanding of the options before us, weâve asked several of our editors and contributors to make ãthe conservative caseä for their favored candidate. Their pieces, plus Takiâs column closing out this issue, constitute TACâs endorsement."

In one opinion piece, Kerry's The One, favoring him in a back handed sort of way, the author says, "The only way Americans will have a presidency in which neoconservatives and the Christian Armageddon set are not holding the reins of power is if Kerry is elected."

Finally the closing column, The Real Deal, endorses Michael Anthony Peroutka. He is the nominee of a small third party called the Constitution Party.

Wal-Mart store protested near ancient Mexico ruins
The 71,902-square-foot store rising near the 2,000-year-old pyramids of the Teotihuac‡n empire has ignited the wrath of Mexican conservationists and nationalists, who say the U.S. retailer is destroying their culture at the foot of one of Mexico's greatest treasures.

The Health of Nations, By Donald L. Barlett and James B. Steele, an op-ed piece in today's NY Times once again points out why we have to have a single payer health system in this country.

Eminem is voting for the first time. However, he's still undecided. The good news is that he's encouraging people to vote, and that he's definitely anti-Bush. However, he doesn't know if he'll vote for Kerry.

Potential for election fraud has both sides wary. State Republicans (in Ohio) are challenging the veracity of approximately 35,000 new voter registrants where election cards were returned as undeliverable by the U.S. Postal Service. The challenges filed Friday stretch across 65 of Ohio's 88 counties. David Sullivan, voter protection coordinator for the Ohio Democratic Party, called Friday's challenges an "unprecedented effort to throw tens of thousands of voters off of Ohio's voting rolls.

The light side of the news. Or is it? George Bush. The AntiChrist? Nice Guy? Or the Devil's spawn.

There is still lots of work to be done out there. If you have some time, do some phone banking. You can do it from your own home. Just go to Phone For Act, sign up, and in less than a day, they'll email you a contact list of 20 people to call. They give you a script and make it easy for you. Check it out. If you have a cell phone, you probably can do this at no cost to you. If you call from a land line, it's still not a lot to give to make calls on a Saturday or Sunday.
